Hello New Year !!

Sorry , it's been a few days, but it takes me a while to get into the swing of things, and so far this New Year isn't so hot.

Several people love and that are very dear to me are Sick, I mean in the hospital sick.

As a cancer survivor of 13 years, I know alittle bit about being sick.

I'm going to give you a little about staying well.!!! Take care of YOU !!!

#1 You Must EAT WELL ! Not fast food well, load up on veggies, fruit, good snacks like nuts and cheese. Cut out sugar, salt and fatty things. Common stuff right, JUST DO IT !!! Soup is good food !!!! DRINK WATER !!! All day long, several times a day.

# 2 Sleep, the key to feeling good is good sleep. If you need to turn on the sleep music block out your windows, just sleep, sleep until your body tells you to wake up. It will do your body good.

#3 Keep Clean. Wash your hands often. Do it hand gel, if water is not available. But every time you eat or touch your face or mouth. Wash your hands. Always after going to the restroom and always after handling money. (money is gross) Always before you cook and always, always, always after you go to a public place , bank, Church, work, grocery store, bar. Just keep clean. Also wipe down your computer, ipad, cellphone, itouch etc. Keep it clean!!! Change and wash your bedding atleast once a week, everyday if you actually get sick, this includes your bathroom and kitchen towels. I also spray Lysol in my car and all around my home (door knobs, light switches, water faucets, telephones, bathroom, and bedrooms AND I carry Clorox wipes in my car and my classroom. : o )

#4 Exercise - I know clubs are expensive be helping you keep off the pounds and your heart healthy are very important. Maybe just walk around your neighborhood or at the mall. Turn on your favorite music and dance, run up and down your stairs at home or work. Find someway to get your heart rate up everyday and work at it 3 times a week. You will be surprised how good you feel.

#5 Donate to charity. I know maybe you don't have any extra money or items, but you can volunteer at the local food bank, homeless shelter, Church, etc. If you look in you closet and see things you haven't used in the last two years, chances are your not going to use them know, clothing, shoes, hat, coats, misc. items are always welcome to charity organization, sometimes they will pick them up at your door. Check it out!

All of these things will help you feel better, stay well ya'll!!

Love ya
